Course Builder

The Course Builder has a drag-and-drag interface that allows instructors and courses designers to layout and create the structure of the content for a course. This tool has the potential to save time in the creating and organizing of a course as the number of clicks needed to complete tasks are reduced.

The Course Builder interface is organized in three areas. The Build Structure area can be used to create placeholders for items that have not yet been created. The Create Objects is where new items can be created and used to fill in placeholders. There are links to create content modules, content topics, discussions, dropboxes, grades, and quizzes all from one location. The Browse Objects area allows the instructor to view all items that have already been created in the course.
